HISW respects donor privacy and handles donor information in accordance with legal and ethical nonprofit standards.

Information We Collect from Donors

• Name
• Contact information
• Donation amounts and dates
• Donation method (handled by third-party processors)
• Any information you voluntarily provide

HISW does not store full credit card or bank account numbers.

How Donor Information Is Used

We use donor information to:
• Process contributions
• Issue IRS-compliant donation receipts
• Maintain financial and audit records
• Communicate organizational updates, unless you opt out
• Meet legal, tax, and reporting obligations

What We Do Not Do

HISW does not:
• Sell donor information
• Share donor information with third parties for marketing
• Trade donor lists
• Publish individual donor information without consent (except as required by law)

Third-Party Service Providers

We use secure, PCI-compliant processors (Givebutter, Stripe, PayPal) to collect and process donations. They may collect information required to complete the transaction.

Public Recognition

We may list donor names for acknowledgement unless you request anonymity. Donation amounts are never published without explicit consent.

Access, Correction, and Deletion

Donors may request to access, update, or delete their information. Some records must be retained for IRS compliance.
